![]() I feel like way too many people are too stupid/willfully ignorant to be gambling when you can can easily (especially nowadays with the internet) look up any and all laws regarding gambling/tax thereof. If any of you happen to know why, please let me know. Could it be because the computer showed them that I'm actually "negative" for the year? I thought that one would since the money earned is over $600. I know technically I have to pay taxes on any money earned, even if it's $1, but I'm curious why no 1099 will be sent to me. No Tax "blah, blah, blah" showed up" I'm not sure what she said, but I am curious why nothing showed up saying that I would have to pay taxes on the winnings. I asked the teller if I would be receiving any sort of 1099 in the mail, and she said, "No. ![]() in the computer, they handed me back my cards and they handed me the cash. I handed them my ID, and I just handed them my Social Security card because I happened to have it on me. They asked me for my State ID and for some digits from my Social Security Card. I took a Cash Voucher of over $900 USD to the Cashier window at Resorts World Casino New York City.
